Energy System
Energy represents the operational capacity of your pilots and workers. It is a shared pool used across almost all active game features.
1. The Shared Energy Pool
Workers (Farming/Adventure) and Pilots (Shadow Hold) draw from the same shared energy pool.
Max Energy: Your maximum energy capacity scales with your Worker and Pilot count. The larger your crew, the more energy you can store, but the more food you will need to maintain it.
2. Energy Consumption
Energy is consumed whenever your crew performs a task:
Fleet Deployment: Consumes 2.5 energy per ship deployed.
Watering/Feeding: Auto-watering crops or feeding animals costs 1 energy per action.
Fetching Water: Initiating a water fetch costs 2 energy.
Adventure Mode: Active exploration and resource gathering gradually drain energy.
3. Restoring Energy (The Cooking System)
Energy does not regenerate automatically. You must feed your crew by cooking meals in the Living Quarters using products harvested from your Farm.
Basic Rations: Restores 40% Energy. (Requires Wheat, Milk, Eggs)
Homestead Feast: Restores 60% Energy. (Requires Eggs, Corn, Potatoes, Cabbage, Chicken)
Grand Banquet: Restores 100% Energy. (Requires all farm products, including Beef and Wheat)
4. Crew Morale
Energy levels directly impact Crew Morale.
High Energy: Crew is "Happy," providing optimal yield efficiency.
Low Energy: Crew becomes "Neutral" or "Sad," which can lead to reduced mining yields and increased durability loss for facilities.
💡 Pro-Tips for Success
Repair Early: Don't wait for 0%. Repairs are often more cost-effective when performed at 50% durability than after a total breakdown.
Balance Your Crew: Only hire as many workers as you can reliably feed. A massive crew with no food will quickly become an energy liability.
Strategic Stacking: Only use Stack Mode if you have the Xirium reserves to handle the increased repair costs.
