NFTs Cooldown

When a player moves or transfers NFTs from their wallet in the middle of the season, their account will enter a 30 hours cooldown. While under under a cooldown players will temporarily lose access to the feature corresponding to the NFTs that has been moved from the players wallet. This mechanic helps prevent exploitation, secures the in-game seasonal economy system, and reinforces the connection between on-chain and in-game activities.

Advantages of Time Gating System

The time-gating system used in StarForge serves multiple purposes within the game economy and player experience: Strategic Planning: Players must decide how to allocate their expeditions across different planets, balancing short cooldowns for smaller extractions with longer cooldowns for higher-yield opportunities. Resource Scarcity: By limiting the frequency of extractions, cooldowns preserve the scarcity and value of Xirium, ensuring it remains a meaningful in-game resource. Player Progression: Time gating encourages regular engagement, rewarding active players who return to optimize their extraction cycles while still preventing over-farming. Economic Balance: radar cooldowns align the in-game economy with sustainable growth, avoiding inflationary resource output.
