Durability System
Durability represents the structural integrity of your ships, hangars, and facilities. Maintaining high durability is essential for maximizing yields and preventing catastrophic failures.
1. Fleet & Hangar Durability (Shadow Hold)
Every deployment to a planet causes wear and tear on both your ships and the hangar used.
Decay Formula: Durability loss uses an accelerating decay formula. As your durability drops, it becomes easier for the structure to sustain further damage.
Stack Mode Impact: Using the 6-Hourly Stack Mode significantly increases durability degradation compared to standard hourly claims.
Critical Threshold: If durability falls below 10%, the asset enters a "Critical State." You will be blocked from deploying until repairs are performed.
Destruction (0%): If durability hits 0%, the asset is considered "Broken."
Radar: A broken radar causes a Level Penalty (-1) and disables planet discovery.
Hangar: A broken hangar increases the risk of ship loss by 45% during expeditions.
2. Facility Durability (Farm & Living Quarters)
Farm Plots & Animal Housing: These lose durability over time and through usage (e.g., watering crops or gathering products).
Command Center: This hub loses 33% durability per Xirium withdrawal.
Living Quarters: The crew's home degrades as it supports the workforce. A broken LQ reduces crew morale and energy efficiency.
3. Repairing & Maintenance
Xirium Costs: Standard repairs (Hangars/Hubs) cost Xirium.
Material Requirements: Complex structures like the Well or Living Quarters require both Xirium and specific Adventure Mode Materials (Steel Plates, Wiring, etc.) to repair.
Repair Tiers:
Basic: Restores durability to 80%.
Advanced: Restores durability to 100%.
